For nearly ten years now I have pursued a style of music I have come to term "sonic wallpaper". By this I mean to imply that the music is there and makes a statement but is not in your face like rock and roll and is not blatant like country and western. If anything it is akin to jazz in its improvisational and spontaneous nature. Stylistically, the music I create tends to mix electronica with world musics and ambient space rock.

I am a guitar player first and foremost and from the first day I picked it up, I have been interested in what the guitar could do apart from the normal chords, scales and riffs that make up most popular music. While I have a high regard for conventional styles and use many of their elements in my music, I am primarily interested in more unorthodox techniques such as looping, textures and soundscapes. I view music as a sort of "wardrobe" (to borrow from C.S. Lewis) through which I enter new worlds and explore new and fantastic places.
